Welcome to Mountain View Tint Co. (“we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, services, and products. By using our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please refrain from using our services or website.
Services Provided
Mountain View Tint Co. specializes in professional window film installation for residential, commercial, and architectural applications. We offer XPEL Vision flat glass films including solar, privacy, and decorative solutions designed to improve comfort, energy efficiency, and aesthetics.
All services are performed according to industry standards and manufacturer recommendations.
Appointments and Payments
• Scheduling: All appointments must be booked in advance. Cancellations or reschedules require at least 24 hours’ notice.
• Deposits: Some projects may require a deposit to secure your installation date. Deposits are non-refundable in cases of late cancellation or no-show.
• Payment Terms: Full payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept major credit cards, cash, and electronic payments.
• Late Payments: Balances not paid in full may incur late fees or collection action.
Estimates and Pricing
All quotes are estimates based on information provided at the time of consultation. Final pricing may vary if:
• Additional film or labor is required,
• Unexpected surface conditions are discovered, or
• The scope of work changes.
Prices are subject to change without notice. All quotes are valid for 30 days from the date issued.
Warranty and Service Quality
We proudly use XPEL Vision architectural films, which include a limited lifetime warranty against bubbling, peeling, cracking, and delamination (per manufacturer terms).
To qualify for warranty service, customers must:
• Notify Mountain View Tint Co. immediately of any concerns, and
• Allow us or an authorized XPEL installer to inspect and correct the issue.
Warranty Exclusions:
• Damage caused by glass breakage, building movement, misuse, neglect, improper cleaning, or installation modification by others.
• Normal wear, scratches, or adhesive marks due to surface contaminants.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
• Provide accurate information about glass type, condition, and access requirements.
• Ensure work areas are clear and accessible prior to installation.
• Inspect the installation upon completion and report any issues within 48 hours.
Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, photos, graphics, and the Mountain View Tint Co. logo, is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our prior written permission.
Limitation of Liability
Mountain View Tint Co. is not liable for:
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services or website.
• Damages caused by pre-existing glass defects, seal failures, or environmental conditions.
Our total liability shall not exceed the cost of the service provided.
Refusal or Termination of Service
We reserve the right to refuse or terminate service at any time for:
• Unsafe conditions,
• Unlawful activity,
• Non-compliance with these Terms, or
• Behavior deemed inappropriate toward our staff.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on our website with the revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
